Studio 27eleven

Sparking curiosity
with eye-catching design.

Hello Vic, Owen and Rebecca!

The schedule is looking busy, you’ve got a brand new studio site in Bethnal Green ready to go and it’s time to start drumming up attention and to get people excited to find out more!

This is where I come in.

I’ve spent more than a decade working with arts, culture and lifestyle brands and my clients range from choreographers and museums to theatres and restaurants.

I love to work alongside marketing departments and provide design support for print and digital, brand awareness campaigns and other creative projects. Whether the brief is to build a suite of assets from existing artwork, or begin the creative from scratch, I can help to deliver a visual campaign that will engage audiences, spark curiosity and introduce your vision to new eyes.

Who I’ve worked with

Getting results

Case Study:
Museum of London Docks 20

Working alongside the Museum of London marketing team, I created and built a suite of digital assets to promote the exciting events and activities for Docks20, which commemorated the venue's 20th anniversary.

The assets were showcased across multi-national advertising platforms, social media channels and online. The aim of the campaign was to develop eye-catching, lively and energetic artwork that captured the key audience’s attention, providing a snapshot of the festival overview to help create awareness, intrigue and a curiosity to find out more. The campaign had an impact reach of over 821,000K with a low Cost Per Thousand (CPM).

Lovely feedback 💌

Jen seamlessly juggles expansive, curious creative thinking with grounded practicality, a combination which produces audience-led design solutions that make sense.

— Jamie Reece (Head of Communications, London Museum)

Case Study:
Shobana Jeyasingh Dance

Working with the marketing team at Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, I have designed the promotional material to accompany performances for a range of platforms including theatre, site and screen, which includes digital advertising through to printed programmes and billboard posters.

Alongside core marketing materials, I’ve designed a range of outdoor and indoor banners that were displayed at venues, promotional flyers and posters advertising the dance installations.

I also help to create brochures and reports for sponsorship and grant applications for the company.

Lovely feedback 💌

“Working with Jen makes any design project really enjoyable. She’s fast, efficient and visualises my briefs to beautiful effect. ”

— Vic Shead (Freelance Marketing Associate)

Case Study: Culture Mile

I worked alongside the marketing team to create digital and print assets to promote the launch of various Culture Mile campaigns in London.

As part of the digital assets, I produced a promotional video in a variety of sizes specifically for social media channels and advertising billboards. The focus was on
growth and connection by highlighting the creative community of Culture Mile. Keeping in tune with the brand guidelines, the campaigns resulted in a quirky, creative and playful promotion.

I also worked on a wide range of educational collateral for different communities within the Culture Mile brand, often focusing on printed flyers, posters, website assets and emailers.

Lovely feedback 💌

The BN magazine has taken a huge leap forward since Jen has been our designer. Super easy to work with and completely engaged in the process, always taking the raw materials and turning them into something beautiful.

All about the process

Whether you need an extra pair of creative hands for a specific project or ongoing assistance, I've got years of experience working with marketing teams and I understand the importance of collaboration. But how does this look in reality?

I like to start projects with an initial chat to run through ideas and make sure we’re all on the same page (this can be through emails, over video link or on a phone call) and from this point I’ll put together a design quote (or if you have a budget in mind, that’s always super helpful to know) and we’ll get the project scheduled in - making sure to identify specific deadlines and launch dates in our initial chat of course!

Next up, the creative part! I’ll start brainstorming ideas, and begin to create the visuals. Depending on the project, I’ll send over a few examples of the direction I’m heading in to make sure we’re on the right track (no unwanted surprises here!) and then go full steam ahead with the design.

After sharing the visuals, we’ll gather feedback and make any revisions, this is usually completed over email, and when approved I’ll get the final files ready for the launch date.

I’m always very flexible and I understand departments have specific ways of working together, and I’m happy to slot right in and become one of the team!

Thank you!

Thanks Vic, Owen and Rebecca for taking the time to find out more about me, and I’m looking forward to our chat on Monday 11th Feb.

If you have any questions before then, feel free to email me at jen@27eleven.co.uk.
